Mediation
Family Mediation
Separation and divorce are hard on everyone involved. Family Mediation can help make this process less challenging and less costly both on your time and finances.
Separation is one of the most difficult experiences in life but it doesn’t have to destroy your family or your finances. Mediation can help you find common ground, navigate difficult issues together, and find peace in moving on.
How does it work?
Step 1 – Individual intake and introduction sessions
Step 2 – Joint Mediation Sessions
Step 3 – Drafting of report outlining agreements reached
Step 4 – Both parties seek independent legal advice and finalize agreement
Step 5 – Both parties keep a copy of the agreement and all supportive documentation
During our consultation call, I will learn more about your particular situation and work with you to decide if mediation is the right approach.
Fees:
The fee structure for mediation services is as follows:
– $250 for initial 90 minute individual intake sessions
– $200/hour for joint mediation sessions and report drafting.
Mediation sessions can be scheduled in blocks of 2-3 hours to help you navigate issues and move forward in a timely manner.
